Thanks
for stopping by! I've put up this
website just to give people a little
more info about me and what I'm
up to.
Man, I can't
believe that 2010 is already half
over! Or has it only half begun?
It's kind of a "glass half
empty vs. glass half full"
conundrum.... In any case, wow,
this has been a great year for me
so far. All kinds of fun creative
playing situations have been happenin'
in my world. So far in 2010, I've
toured Australia and New Zealand
with Brian
Auger's Oblivion Express, done
local gigs in LA with bands like
Wonk
and Rodney Lee's Satellite
Orchestra, played some great
festivals around the USA with Saxophonist
Mindi
Abair, and begun my solo career
by leading my own band in LA venues
such as The
Mint, The
Baked Potato, and Cafe
Cordiale. And I've got performances
scheduled throughout the summer
with all the artists and groups
I just mentioned (in addition to
a few others).... Stop by my GIGS
page to see the schedule.
I'm
pleased to announce that my debut
solo album, "Let the Games
Begin..." is now available,
and is getting good reviews!!! Check
out the brand new
PRESS section of this website
to read what people are saying!
Look for reviews in the May issue
of Bass
Player Magazine, and in the
June issue of Vintage
Guitar Magazine. I can best
describe it as instrumental funk,
with of course a lot of focus on
the bass. Right now it's available
for download on digstation
and iTunes,
and CD's are available throuh CD
Baby, Amazon,
and Abstract
Logix. I've got clips up on
my SOUNDS
page, let me know what you think!
My next gig leading my own band
is June 22nd at The
Baked Potato in Studio City,
CA.... hope to see you there!
Some
other albums that I played on earlier
this year have recently become available,
check out the newly updated DISCOGRAPHY
page for thie list, links, and sound
clips.
I'm
still active in the world of remote
recording, so if you need any bass
tracks, don't hesitate to ask! You
can contact me through this site,
or check out my recording website,
BassTracksOnline.com.
Well,
I've babbled on long enough... Feel
free to stop by my GIGS
page to see where and when I'm playing.
Thanks for stopping by, hope to
see you soon!
